Welcome to the first-generation, low-income community at Yale! FGLI Thrive is an administrative effort to support and empower first-generation, low-income students at Yale. Coordinated by the Assistant Director of Student Engagement under the Yale College Dean’s Office, this initiative is a response to recent efforts to increase socioeconomic diversity in the undergraduate student population. FGLI Thrive continues on the work of student-led efforts to support students financially, academically, and socially, and it aspires to empower student leaders to enact cultural change on campus.
FGLI Thrive would like to extend a huge congratualtions to the recently admitted Class of 2030 early action students! To the current prospective students and current applicants, we hope to see you all around campus this upcoming fall!
